2011 Mazda5 live in Geneva 03.03.2010
The all-new Mazda5 family MPV is now on show at Geneva. It displays Mazda’s latest design language called Nagare Flow and is the first car in the company to do so. The people carrier seeks to be the first choice on buyers’ lists when shopping for a practical MPV.
To ensure this are features like the dual sliding rear doors (power-electric available in certain markets) and easy step-in access. Space is very much in abundance; the vehicle measures 4.59 metres long, 1.75m wide, 1.6m high and has a wheelbase of 2.75m. There is seating space for up to 7 passengers.
Engine choices are a 1.8-litre with 85kW (116 PS / 114 hp) and a 2.0 DISI i-stop motor making 111kW (151 PS / 149 hp). Both are mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox and are Euro V compliant. Quoted CO2 emissions are 168 g/km and 159 g/km respectively.
